• Community Acupuncture

  • Acupuncture treatments being administered in a group setting with a calm, relaxing view of nature

Our low-cost community acupuncture clinic was developed to serve our population of patients who are uninsured, under-insured, and/or anyone who may be looking for a more budget and schedule-friendly option than our private clinic can offer.

“Community” refers to a style of acupuncture where treatments are administered in a group setting. Multiple patients are treated simultaneously and together in a large space. This setup organically fosters an atmosphere of group healing, a powerful and profound experience where patients can find spontaneous partnership with one another while on their own unique healing journey.

Anyone and everyone is welcome in our community acupuncture space! You are a great candidate for this style of acupuncture if any of these apply to you:

    • You are looking for a budget-friendly acupuncture option
    • You have a busy, unpredictable schedule and like the flexibility of walk-in appointment availability
    • You would like a calm, relaxing experience to relieve stress and anxiety here and there as needed
    • You are generally healthy and feeling well, and would like to try acupuncture as self-care for general wellness
    • You are not acutely ill with something that may be contagious
    • You have 1-2 health concerns you’d like to address with acupuncture; otherwise, you’re feeling pretty good

Please note that if you are currently pregnant, you must first be seen in our private clinic to ensure that community treatment is suitable for you. Please contact us prior to booking your community treatment in this case.

You are considered a new patient if you have never had acupuncture with us before, or if it has been over 3 years since your last treatment with us. Patients who have been treated in our private clinic within the last 3 years do not need to restart as new patients in the community clinic.

The cost for appointments in the community clinic is $50 for a new patient, and $40 for returning patients. The new patient appointment includes a $10 one-time paperwork fee so that we can get you established in our system.

Please be aware that there are no refunds within 24 hours of your appointment. A credit card will be kept on file and charged 24 hours ahead of the appointment. If you are unable to attend, please call and let us know with at least 24 hours notice to avoid paying for the appointment. We use the fees collected to fund free events for folks who cannot afford care.

We accept appointments in the community clinic by appointment or walk-in.

Because this is a low-cost option, this service has been streamlined and simplified from what we are able to offer in our private clinic. As such, the following services are only available in our private clinic:

    • Health evaluations
    • Moxibustion
    • Infrared heat therapy
    • Topical CBD therapy
    • Cupping, Gu Sha
    • E-Stim Acupuncture

Our staff can help you decide which option, or a combination of both, is best for you.
