• Insurance Coverage for Acupuncture

We accept most major Maryland insurances and will check your coverage for you ahead of your first visit. Out of state plans can be checked by our staff as well.

Many of our patients do have coverage for Acupuncture through their insurance. Coverage can vary widely, and be more complex than it seems at first glance. We have close to 10 years of experience dealing with Maryland insurance companies, and we know all of the right questions to ask.

If you’ve been told that you have coverage through your insurance, submit your details to us and we will get the nitty gritty to make sure you understand your benefits and out of pocket costs upfront to the best extent possible.

Auto Accident / Personal Accident / Worker’s Compensation

If you are seeking treatment for symptoms related to an automobile accident, personal accident, or accident that occurred at work, we can submit your claims for payment to the appropriate entity as long as there is an open PIP claim (in the case of an accident). If your PIP funds are exhausted, we will not be able to submit claims to your attorney. You may use medical insurance or self-pay for services in that case.

For open worker’s compensation claims, some (not all) will allow acupuncture as a covered service.

In either case, we need to contact your claims adjuster to determine whether they will consider your claims.

    Self-Pay Costs

In the event that your insurance does not cover acupuncture (or you just prefer to self-pay), we have several options for you. Both our Low-Cost Community Clinic and Private Clinic offer services to patients who are self-pay status. Reach out to us for current pricing by submitting your information via this form.
