Costs for Community Acupuncture can be found here.

    Private Acupuncture

The cost of your treatments is dependent on your insurance carrier. Call our office or fill out our online insurance verification form in order to determine your out of pocket cost.

    Insurance

We accept most major insurance carriers in Maryland and will submit claims on your behalf. You may have a co-pay or co-insurance due at time of service. We can check the acupuncture coverage for your particular plan when you come for treatment. If you prefer, call or email our office with your insurance details and we will check your benefits for you.

Acupuncture is often an eligible expense under flexible spending (FSA) and health care spending (HSA) accounts. A coded receipt will be provided to you if you plan to seek reimbursement through FSA or HSA. Likewise, if you itemize medical bills for tax purposes, a coded receipt will be provided for this purpose.

Medicare does not have coverage for acupuncture. If you have insurance secondary to Medicare, you may have coverage. Follow the instructions above for finding out.

    Self-Pay

Patients without health insurance or whose insurance plan does not cover acupuncture can pay out of pocket for services. A time of service discount is applied for this case, and packages of 4 or 8 treatments are available for purchase for a larger discount. Contact our office at 410-697-1235 for details and pricing.
